Spoiled Brat!

Venue: Mid Valley's food court

I was sitting waiting for my dad to buy food and
I overheard the conversation of a child and an old lady
(maybe his grandma or relative) and it goes like this

(they are speaking in mandarin)
Old lady: Is the rice you are eating nice?
BOy: ok not bad lor
Old lady: How much is it?
Boy: RM5.50 ok lah food here is like that one
Old lady: wow expensive also. wonder what ur mum is buying, I am very hungry.
Boy: what are u eating?
OLd lady: I think your mum buying for me
Boy: No woh, I buy my own food, papa and mama buying their own who say they buying for you ? go buy yourself lah.

Old lady was quite for a while and look confused then stood up and went to buy food I think. The boy on the other hand was stuffing his mouth with food!
At that moment I felt like walking over to the boy and give his a big slap.
What the hell is wrong with the child talking to an old lady like that he was only 9 or 10 I think and the old lady was like in her 70s.
Doesn't the parents teach him any manners, felt really sorry for the old lady.

Then Boy's dad came

Boy: what you buy?
Dad: economy rice
Boy: just now ..... , (did not hear) think mama was buying food for her. *smirked*
Dad: Sot one, don t bother bout her lah.
Both dad and boy continue to stuff their face mean while the old lady came back and sat down and both of them annoys her (what the f... is wrong with this family)

Boy's mum came with 2 plate of rice and a plate of the grill fish, passed one plate of rice to the old lady and sat down.

Boy: what you buy ?
Mum: prawn and fish, you want?
Boy: no
Old lady: looks like got lots of chilis, looks so little enough for both of us?
Mum: buy already then eat lah why ask so much, this very expensive you know (she then pulls the plate with the fish and prawn closer to her).
The old lady kept quite and ate the rice and reach for the fish because she was slow at scooping out the fish
Mum: Faster lah, get to eat also so slow
After that the old lady dare not take the fish anymore but just some sauce.

I left with my dad after that don't have the heart to look at them anymore.
Now I know where the boy learn his behavior from and I really really hope that
the boy will grow up to be just like his dad and mum, and treat his parents the same way they have treated the old lady.

Free!!!!!

Wooohooooooo, finish my finals yesterday.
Am really really happy that its over and done with.
Although I did not finish all 4 essay due to limited time
(4 essay each with 300-800 words in 3 hours, where got enough?)
Went to the exam yesterday equip with my textbook, lecture notes and brain.
thinking these 3 sources would be more then enough,
when I saw a student walking into the exam hall carrying a huge pile of paper
( 0.0 what the...? only 3 hour enough time to flip through meh? )
But don't think I should judge cause people
work really really hard and was well prepared for it.
(but I did laugh out a little which is a bad behavior )
So ya 3 hour of exam and manage to do 3 question
(really hope I pass this can't go through the torture again)

Although exam has ended but I still can't full enjoy
my three weeks of holiday due to my thesis again hahahahah.
Actually haven't really started on it so ya who is there to blame but
me and procrastination, now must really start on it NOW!

Meteor Shower

Announcement!
There will be a Giminds meteor shower tomorrow,
the peak time will be at 2.00 a.m.
However I would not be able to see it since
I am alone at home and KL is a dangerous place
Walking out in the middle of the night is a big nono,
even its in the front-porch of the house (see how unsafe Malaysia is).

For those who are luckier then me, must not miss it!
Its a once in a life time experience.
According to the news there will be 2 shooting star per min
100 per hour (see how amazing).

If you really are going to see it,
could you please help me make 3 thinnest wishes
(don't mean to sound bimbo but...who knows maybe it will come true. hehehehe)
of course that is after u have made your wishes
So the following are my wishes:

1) To graduate my degree with second upper class
(see i care about my academic not bimbo at all)

2) Able to continue Masters in forensic psychology in U.S or Australia
(see see another academic wish)

3) Find a handsome, caring and know how to earn money husband who love love love me.
(ok this one abit bimbo but I am a girl after all)

Hope you remember all three.
But I will still look out for the meteor shower through my bared window

The FISH and PIRATES

When I saw both of these question in the exam today,
I was like what the ????
The only thing I know about fish and pirates,
is that both can be found in the open sea.
Did the lecturer really taught it? (no recollection whatsoever )
Could not find it in the notes or Khay Shi's (nickname "copywrite")
Other then the FISH and PIRATES,
one can also find my B in the sea now.

Deja vu

Every semester while studying for finals,
I would always regard not starting early.
Then I would promise myself that in the coming semester
I would start doing revision on the chapter after the lecture.
But till now in my third year I never fulfill that promise.
Procrastination, lack of motivation or simply just lazy?

Blank...Empty......Nada!

Ok eventual I have finish reading the IO textbook,
I don't seen to know what I have read!
What is important? what is the main point?... nothing, totally clueless.

A Blissful and Loving day

Yesterday was Stacy and Perk Lim's wedding.
An early matrimony was held in World City Harvest Church,
had to wake up early to meet Khay Shi in Kelana Jaya LRT station.
Although the ceremony was small and simple but it was beautiful.
(could really feel the love they have for each other).
Stacy looked really beautiful in the wedding dress.

The wedding lunch starts at 1.00 p.m having time to spare,
Khay shi and I went to scholl warehouse sale.
There weren't anything to buy thus we left after being there for 10 mins.
(Aunties get really crazy at sale! They really know how to push)

The wedding lunch was at Mid Valley's Spring Valley.
We were assigned to sit with some unknown aunties and uncle.
(their conversation really amazed me)
But thankfully Khay shi was there to accompany me (THANKS Khay Shi!)
The food and entertainment was great.
All in all a good and memorable day.

Bachelor VS Spinster

As we learn in psychology,
a person's thinking are offend shaped by culture and society norms.
Thus when a man reaches a certain age without getting married,
others neither judge nor critic him.
However if a woman were to stay single till a certain age
they are being called spinster and are offend critic by others.

Why can't a woman still single if she wants to?
The reason some woman does not want to get marry is not because nobody wants them.
Its a choice they made to stay single.
the following are some of the reasons why woman choice to stay single:
1) Haven't found her prince charming (man that fit her criteria)
2) Like freedom without the burden of having a husband and children
3) There are enough evil people polluting this world
4) Does not believe in marriage
Well these are the few reasons that I could think of, but I am sure there are many more.
Therefore single woman should get equal treatment as single man.

First drive in KL

After 3 years of studying in KL
Yesterday I drove to college for the first time.
It only took me 10 min to get to college from my house,
compared to the 1 hour if i were to take public transport.
Though on my way back I overshoot a turning and got lost
a bit but I still manage to find my way back.
Khay Shi and the gang wanted to go makan after the colloquium
and workshop.
She said she will tell me the direction but knowing myself with direction will lets just say no.
Give me some time, let me drive for few more times and build up my confidence first.
Will follow next time.

New phone

Thesis

Woohoo!!!
Found my thesis topic,
went to meet with my supervisor and
she loved it said it was very creative.
Most of all I even got permission for the original researcher
to use his questionnaire in my research, can u believe it!.
I am on cloud nine!
Its like a huge rock has been lift from my chest.

(Aloud ringging sound from my phone)
And just when I though life couldn't get any better,
I woke up and realized that I was dreaming.
my thesis topic and everything was just a DREAM!
(ARRRRRRRRRRRR.....Why oh why????? Tell me why????)
Sometime these things are really too good to be true
And the worst of all is that
I don't even remember the thesis topic in my dream.
Even a little hint would have been nice (sob...sob...).

My first non-fiction book.

Went to borders with my dad today, got there at 9.00 a.m but

borders only opens at 10.00 a.m, so we have to walk around

and wait for the bookstore to open.

Books in Malaysia are really expensive,

although Malaysian government encourages people to read,

the price is not very encouraging.

There are a few books that interest me mostly fiction novels of course.

But due to procrastination on school reading and my search on thesis topic,

I would feel guilty if I were to start reading novels.

So I went to the psychology section and try to find something

that would benefit my studies as well as interesting. Found a

book called The Wayward Mind by Guy Claxton (Read bits of it

and it seem interesting).Its about human's unconscious mind,

will write more about it after I read it (hope my dad's

money is not wasted).

Phone

Been thinking of getting a new phone since my Motorola is lagging a lot and etc....
Finally found one that I really really like and its within my budget which is below RM 700.
It has the usual functions (3.2 mega pixie camera, no flash). However I still haven't decide on the color yet though, still thinking.

The good old days

Went out with Stacy and Megan yesterday and
spend the night at Stacy's new house in USJ (her love nest to be)
being together with them reminds me of my foundation year in UTAR
(close,crazy,& carefree days).

Although the school was crappy but I found amazing friends,
and hang out together in MC each day (dramaing, talking & eating away).

Although a lot of dramas and arguments happened
but we got closer and understand each other better.
Assignments and presentation was done together,
where procrastination and panic attack always happens
(usually only yenwei gets panic attack).

Although our room was small, without any personal space, heater or air-cons, we live each day memorable. They made college life bearable for me. How i miss those days.

Done with our initial meeting.
Didn't actually presented just dressed up formally
and sat in the board room.
Try to look professional by nodding my head once in a while
when Dr Goh was giving his opinions.

Kat Blogging?

yes i am...
The reason?
simple,ever since i got internet at home
(yes i survived 3 years of college without it).
Every time i google or yahoo for information the result
will come back with a few blog site or entries.
My reaction WOW... lots of people are blogging.
Plus all my friends seem to announce important things/info
and updating each other via blogs.
WHAT HAPPENED TO FACE TO FACE COMMUNICATION?


So what is it about blogging?
People used to have diaries, for their secrets, thoughts,felling and etc...
which they don't share with others.
Now the new revolution of
Diaries ---> Blogs
is totally different,
where everything written is open for all!!
(There are people who even got FAMOUS/ARRESTED from blogging.. Amazed!).

Thus, here i am
Trying to find out the wonders of blogging.
Hope this blogging thing of mine last, tried keep a diary
once but after ONE entire hehe... We all know how that went.
